Your car. Great circuits.
More time for driving.

Flatout brings a small group of drivers to carefully selected track events, with vehicle transport, registration, professional coaching, and trackside support coordinated for you.

Event selection puts the driving first: low car counts, generous track time, and a paddock experience you’ll want to share.

DJ Quint beside an EVOQ race car at Laguna Seca
The person behind EVOQ

I’m DJ Quint.

A mechanical engineer, driver, and program builder who sees the car and the people around it as one system.

I spent 13 years at Toyota North America R&D, working in chassis engineering, vehicle performance evaluation, emergency-handling certification, and electronic brake controls. I led evaluation programs and worked directly with supplier specialists to understand and improve vehicle behavior.

Alongside that work, I helped develop Toyota’s advanced driver-training curriculum and led instruction and training-vehicle development. Through EVOQ, I continue to support Toyota programs while consulting with race teams and coaching private clients.

I’ve built programs from the ground up, improved established teams, and helped new drivers and crews become competitive. That experience shapes how I work: understand the goal, identify what matters, and give people a clear path forward.

Make the right
next decision.

Define the priorities. Understand the tradeoffs. Develop a program that works as a whole.

I help teams and owners turn driver feedback, data, and trackside observations into practical decisions. That can mean diagnosing a vehicle’s behavior, setting development priorities, improving preparation, or building a race strategy around pace, fuel, tires, and pit time.

My background combines Toyota vehicle evaluation and certification with hands-on leadership of endurance racing programs—from production-car builds to class wins.

Vehicle development

Handling, steering, brakes, tires, and setup. Objective and subjective evaluation, development planning, and supplier coordination.

Race engineering & strategy

Translate feedback and data into priorities. Model pace, fuel, and pit-time tradeoffs, then improve the processes that execute the plan.

Program & driver development

Build preparation standards, develop drivers, and transfer knowledge. Support OEM training and technical performance experiences.

04 / OE Program Support

Bring the vehicle
story to life.

Connect the technical story with what people experience behind the wheel.

I support OE vehicle launches, driving experiences, and customer-facing programs through technical facilitation, vehicle education, and driving support.

My background in Toyota vehicle evaluation and driver training helps me explain what a vehicle does, why it behaves that way, and how participants can experience its capabilities with confidence.

From participant briefings to arrive-and-drive experiences, I help make the program clear, engaging, and grounded in the vehicle.

Find the gaps.
Change the result.

Starting from an existing foundation and seeking its first-ever endurance win, the program was rethought from top to bottom using the EVOQ Motorsport engineering approach—including weight, power, tires, setup, and race strategy. It went on to win five of the next six races.
